The recipient of Hunger Mountain's 2021 International Young Writers Prize, her poetry has been published in Four Way Review, Tinderbox, Gigantic Sequins, and Iron Horse, among others. One of her poems was selected by Giller Prize winner Souvankham Thammavongsa for inclusion in Best Canadian Poetry 2021.
Ottavia is an alumna of the Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program, Flypaper Lit’s Flight School workshop, and the Iowa Young Writers Studio. She has been featured in LitHub, The Pointer, and Yahoo! News.
